Rosy Hue contains a blend of Raspberry, Strawberry, Cranberry, and Blueberry fruit extracts that leave a natural berry flush by morning. With nightly use, a pea-sized amount each time, one jar lasts approximately 6–8 weeks. Using more than a pea-sized amount doesn't improve results — it mostly transfers onto your pillow. Less product, more consistency is the right approach.

Yes. It works as a daytime balm — it gives a dewy, hydrated finish and the actives continue working whenever it's on your skin. That said, it's optimised for overnight use. During the day you'll be eating, drinking, and constantly wiping it off — overnight is when it gets uninterrupted time to work.

Yes. All ingredients are food-grade or cosmetic-grade and safe for incidental ingestion in the small amounts involved in lip product use. Beeswax, castor oil, shea butter, and vitamin E are all used in food and pharmaceutical products. The natural pigment in Rosy Hue (Carmine) is also approved for use in food products internationally.

Yes — the formula contains a light fragrance (Parfum). The scent is subtle and designed to be pleasant without being overpowering. The wax base uses Candelilla Wax and Carnauba Wax — both plant-derived — rather than beeswax. The colour in Rosy Hue comes from natural fruit extracts (Raspberry, Strawberry, Cranberry, Blueberry) rather than animal-derived pigments. Yes. Reichtunne does not test on animals at any stage of development or production. Our manufacturing facility is GMP and ISO certified. We do not sell in any market that legally requires animal testing.

No parabens, no sulphates, no mineral oil, no synthetic dyes. The formula does contain Phenoxyethanol — a widely used cosmetic preservative considered safe at the levels used in cosmetics. The formula contains active skin-soothing ingredients — Bisabolol (anti-inflammatory), Beta Glucan (barrier support), and Ceramide NP (barrier repair) — which are all beneficial for sensitive skin. However, the formula does contain Fragrance (Parfum), which is a common trigger for reactive skin. If you have fragrance sensitivity, we recommend patch testing on the inner arm before regular use. Most people notice softer, more hydrated lips from the first morning. Texture improvement is typically consistent by the end of week one. For pigmentation correction — which requires cellular turnover — visible results usually appear between weeks 4 and 8 with nightly use. Real change takes time. A product that claims otherwise is not telling you the full truth.

Both products contain Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C) and Licorice Extract — two of the most studied brightening actives — which address pigmentation at the source by suppressing melanin production. Rosehip Oil supports cell turnover, helping hyperpigmented cells shed faster. Results are gradual and cumulative. Consistent nightly use over 6–8 weeks is where meaningful change happens.

A small amount may transfer in the first few nights, particularly if you apply a generous layer. Apply 20–30 minutes before sleeping if this is a concern — the product will have partially absorbed by then. Using a pea-sized amount rather than a heavy layer also reduces transfer significantly.

Two weeks is early for structural results — barrier repair and pigmentation correction require 4–8 weeks of consistent use. If your concern is dryness, you should notice improvement within the first week. If you don't, check: are you applying enough (pea-sized)? Are you using it every night without gaps? Is there an underlying trigger (diet, medication, dehydration) that might be counteracting progress? If you've done all of this and still see nothing, write to us. We'd rather help you figure it out than have you use something that isn't working.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for products that are damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was described. Because these are skincare products that are applied to the skin, we cannot accept returns of opened or used products for hygiene reasons. If you received something wrong or damaged, email us with your order number and a photo and we'll resolve it immediately.

Write to us. We'd genuinely like to understand why and help figure out if there's something that would work better for your specific concern. We don't offer blanket "if you don't like it, return it" policies on opened skincare — but we do take every complaint seriously and will always try to find a resolution.
